Ottavio Novella, the founder, stood out for his intuitive ability to adapt to the evolution of marine engines, focusing particularly on their fuel systems. This strategically positioned him a step ahead during the transition from coal to liquid fuel.
OTTAVIO NOVELLA is also responsible for the maintenance and conservation of EMSA equipment and its availability for mobilization 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in case of emergency. The service is primarily set up for oil spill response operations within the Mediterranean Sea and includes the following specialized equipment systems: Fire Booms, Current Buster 6, Trawl Nets, RoBoom-RoSkim and Speed Sweep.
